1. How to participate
1.1 The Impact List is an editorial creator recognition programme operated by the Company (defined below).
“Applicant” means an individual who submits an application to be considered for inclusion in The Impact List.
“Entry” means an application or nomination submitted in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
1.2 To be considered for inclusion in The Impact List, all Applicants any must complete the official application form available on the Company’s website (https://www.fivetwonine.com/the-impact-list) and submit all required information, including full name, email address, social media handles and any supporting materials requested.
1.3 Each Applicant may submit one Entry only. Where an Applicant submits more than one Entry, the Company reserves the right to reject all or any such Entries.
1.4 Individual online social media creators may also be nominated by a third party for inclusion into The Impact List. Such a nomination does not constitute an application under these Terms and Conditions the Company may contact a nominee and request such further information or confirmation as it considers reasonably necessary for the purposes of assessing the nominee’s eligibility and suitability for inclusion in The Impact List.
1.5 Entries that are incomplete, inaccurate, or do not comply with these Terms & Conditions may be disqualified at the Company’s sole discretion.
1.6 No purchase or payment is required to apply or be selected.
2. Start date
Applications for The Impact List open at 14:00 BST (9:00 ET) on the 3rd of September 2026.
3. Closing date
3.1 Applications for The Impact List close at 04:59 BST (23:59 ET) on the 21st September 2026.
3.2 Submissions received after the closing date and time will not be considered.
3.3 The Company accepts no responsibility for Entries that are not successfully submitted or received by the closing date due to technical failure, network failure, platform failure or any other circumstances beyond the Company’s reasonable control.
4. Selection process
4.1 The Impact List will be curated by a judging panel selected by the Company, which may include representatives from FiveTwoNine, Billion Dollar Boy, Companion and invited industry experts. The Company may take such steps as it considers appropriate to manage any actual or potential conflict of interest arising in connection with the selection process, including excluding an individual from consideration of a particular Entry.
4.2 Selection is based on the criteria outlined for each category on this page https://www.fivetwonine.com/the-impact-list-categories.
4.3 The Company reserves the right to accept, reject, or reassign applications and nominations between categories in its sole discretion.
4.4 The Company’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding selection outcomes and/or the reasons for any selection decision.
4.5 Meeting the category eligibility requirements listed here https://www.fivetwonine.com/the-impact-list-categories does not guarantee inclusion in The Impact List.
4.6 The Impact List will include 30 creators from the United Kingdom and 30 creators from the United States - 5 creators from each country in each one of the 6 categories.
4.7 Creators do not need to be members of FiveTwoNine, clients of Billion Dollar Boy or users of Companion to be eligible for consideration. Any existing relationship with the Company or any of its affiliated businesses shall not guarantee selection.
5. Recognition
5.1 Selected creators will be featured in The Impact List, which will be published as:
A digital editorial publication
A printed limited-edition magazine
A curated industry showcase at UK and US launch events
The Company's owned and operated social media channels and associated marketing and publicity.
5.2 The Company may, at its discretion and subject to availability, provide selected creators with access to events, networking opportunities, industry introductions or other opportunities as part of the programme. Specific opportunities may vary between creators and markets and inclusion in The Impact List does not guarantee any particular commercial opportunity, brand partnership, event attendance, introduction or future engagement.
6. Eligibility and requirements
6.1 Entry is open to social media creators aged 18 or over.
6.2 Eligible participants must be based in the United Kingdom or the United States only.
6.3 Category eligibility thresholds apply as follows:
Creative Visionaries - Craft & Creativity: 50K+ followers
Creator Entrepreneurs - Business & Entrepreneurship: 50K+ followers
Community Builders - Deep Connection: 50K+ followers
Changemakers - Values & Impact: 20K+ followers
Creators to Watch - Emerging Talent: 10K-25K followers
Brand Partners - Commercial Craft & Partnership Excellence: 20K+ followers
6.4 The Company reserves the right to verify follower counts, engagement metrics, and platform authenticity.
6.5 The Company may reject or disqualify an Entry where it reasonably believes that follower counts, engagement, audience data or other performance metrics have been artificially manipulated, purchased, generated through fraudulent activity or otherwise materially misrepresented.
6.6 By submitting an Entry, the Applicant warrants that they have all rights, licences and permissions necessary to submit any images, videos, written materials or other content included in their Entry and that such materials do not knowingly infringe the rights of any third party.
6.7 Participation in The Impact List is void where prohibited by law, in Rhode Island and outside the United Kingdom or the fifty (50) United States (and. D.C.).
7. Notification and announcement
7.1 Selected Applicants will be notified via email from the 12th of October 2026 to the 27th of October 2026.
7.2 The final The Impact List will be publicly announced via the Company’s digital channels and editorial publication on the 27th of October 2026.
7.3 The Company may require selected Applicants to provide additional information by 20th of October 2026. Failure to provide such confirmation or information within the specified period may result in the Company withdrawing the selection.
8. Events and participation
8.1 Selected Applicants may be invited to attend launch events in the United Kingdom and the United States.
8.2 Attendance at events is optional. Where travel, accommodation, or expenses are required, these will be clearly communicated in advance and are not automatically covered unless explicitly stated by the Company.
8.3 The Company reserves the right to change or cancel any event where reasonably necessary and shall not be liable for any costs incurred in connection with such change or cancellation, except where such liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Publicity and content usage
9.1 By submitting an application, Applicants agree that the Company may use submitted materials (including name, handle, images, videos, and written responses) for editorial, marketing, and promotional purposes related to The Impact List.
9.2 Selected creators may be featured in:
The digital The Impact List publication
The printed magazine
Social media content
Press and editorial coverage
Event materials and presentations
9.3 Where a creator is selected for inclusion in The Impact List, the Company may use the creator’s name, image, likeness, social media handles, biographical information and materials submitted as part of the Entry in connection with the The Impact List, including in digital and printed publications, press materials, social media, websites, presentations and events.
9.4 Selected creators agree to reasonable participation in publicity related to The Impact List, including interviews, content capture, and event documentation where applicable. Such participation will be subject to reasonable notice and the selected creator’s availability.
9.5 Except for the licence granted to the Company under these Terms & Conditions, the Applicant retains ownership of the intellectual property rights in materials submitted as part of an Entry.
10. Personal data
10.1 Personal data will be processed by the Company for the purpose of administering the application process, evaluating entries, and communicating outcomes.
10.2 Full details of how personal data is used can be found in the Company’s Privacy Policy.
10. Disqualification and removal
11.1 The Company reserves the right to reject or disqualify an Applicant or nominee, or withdraw the inclusion of a selected creator from the The Impact List, where the Company reasonably believes that:
(a) any information provided that is materially inaccurate, incomplete or misleading;
(b) the eligibility requirements are not satisfied;
(c) the follower counts, engagement, audience data or other performance metrics have been artificially manipulated, purchased or otherwise fraudulently generated;
(d) the materials submitted as part of an Entry infringe the rights of any third party; or
(e) continued inclusion in the The Impact List would be unlawful or would materially compromise the integrity of The Impact List.
11.2 Where reasonably practicable, the Company will notify the affected individual before withdrawing their inclusion from The Impact List.
11.3. Applicants may request withdrawal from consideration by contacting the Company using the contact details provided as part of the application process. Following selection or publication of The Impact List, the Company may be unable to accommodate a withdrawal request where materials have already been published, printed or otherwise committed to production.
12. General
12.1 The Impact List is operated by Billion Dollar Boy Limited, company number 08031315, with registered address at 1st Floor, Bedford House, 21a John Street, London, England, WC1N 2BF, trading as FiveTwoNine (the “Company”).
12.2 The Company accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, incomplete, or not received due to technical issues.
12.3 The Company reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel The Impact List where necessary. Where reasonably practicable, the Company will communicate any material changes through the Company’s website or other relevant communication channels.
12.4 The Company will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from participation in The Impact List, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.
12.5 These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
12.6 Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where local consumer protections apply.
